Admin/Receptionist (Perth)

Location: Perth Studios.

Description:

  • Part time role - 3 days per week, flexible days
  • 6 – 12 months to cover maternity leave
  • Ideal central location with free parking
  • 30-35K pro-rata, plus superannuation
  • Position starts mid September 2008

Interzone is a Publisher/Developer of Massive Multi-player On-line games, with over 100 employees spanning 4 continents. Interzone is looking for an Administrator/ Receptionist to join our growing, dynamic team in Perth. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the daily operation of the Perth office and provide support to a team dedicated to making a fun and different kind of gaming experience.

To move into this exciting role you will need administration and customer service experience and have a proactive, flexible and team oriented attitude. You will enjoy providing high quality service, be able to communicate with people at all levels and be flexible in offering support as and when needed.

Responsibilities:

This position reports directly to the Business Manager. The successful applicant will be highly organised and a team player, but also have the ability to work autonomously.

  • Provide high quality front of house services and attend to visitors and telephone enquiries;
  • Handle mail collection/posting and distribution;
  • Process invoices and reimbursements;
  • Book meetings/flights/accommodation;
  • Undertake word processing, data entry, filing and photocopying;
  • Maintain stationary and staff amenities;
  • Assist employees transferred from other offices;
  • Assist with other administrative areas as directed by supervisor.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have experience in an admin/reception role and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work with a range of internal and external customers;
  • Exceptional organisational skills;
  • Able to effectively prioritise work;
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and the Internet; and
  • Basic MYOB experience.
